Coffee is something most people interact with on a daily basis, but have you ever stopped to look at the beans? This rendering focuses on the intricate details of something as simple as coffee beans. The above rendering took approximately 35 hours to complete.

The Canyon

The natural world is full of beautiful shadows, light, and curves. This drawing is from a photograph taken in Upper Antelope Canyon near Page, Arizona. The light shining down the canyon walls creates beauty unlike any other. The above rendering took approximately 45 hours to complete.

When taking this photograph, the weathered paint on the top of the post is what my eyes were drawn to. This project captures part of a fence and plays with foreground, middle ground, and background. The above rendering took approximately 35 hours to complete.

The above rendering focuses on a wetland plant also known as a cattail. The soft but unique textures they create intrigued me. The above rendering took approximately 30 hours to complete.

The photograph this rendering was drawn from was taken by my brother, Jordan Weiler. The subject in the image was his then girlfriend, now wife. The above rendering took approximately 45 hours to complete.

Through the art of hand rendering and with the help of photography, I was able to capture an anomaly within a simple rolled up construction fence. The small break in the orange plastic is the chaos within the otherwise orderly fence. The above rendering took approximately 60 hours to complete and was my introduction to the world of hand rendering.
